Movie Review: The Tomorrow War

I'm not usually one for Amazon Prime movies, but if you tell me Chris Pratt is in it, I'll likely be watching it! So here's my review of The Tomorrow War.

Rating: 4/10

Let's start with the things I didn't like: First off, White Spikes? Really? You couldn't think of a better name for the alien demon things? Second, the acting wasn't that great which pains me to say considering Chris Pratt is in it. Just cringe-worthy mostly due to the script-writing.

The special effects were good, the aliens were creepy looking as hell, and Chris Pratt is always a great casting choice. Plus, the general principle of the movie is great, and an original spin on the traditional alien movie.

In the end, it was a stereotypical action movie. Lots of guns (even though they're fighting aliens 30 years in the future), lots of typical hollywood scenes of Chris Pratt barely escaping death, and not so great screenwriting. All in all, I'm pretty disappointed with this movie.
